Blue Tooth tube amps/integrated amps/home theater receivers

I have been an audiophile since 1970 (I'm 75), while overseas serving my military obligations, There I was introduced the local Military audio club.  Place where GI's could audition and purchase the likes of McIntosh, Marantz, Sansui, Dual and other components.  I built up to McIntosh and Marantz tube components.  But, I find that now adays I am listening to music on my iphone or ipod, via Bose Quiet Comfort headphones.  I don't listen to music like I used to, more of background music now.   I still have my tube mono blocks and tube preamp in their original boxes since my last move 6 years ago.  Question is:  Just how good are these hybrid blue tooth tube amps, integrated amps and HT receivers?  I googled top 10 best and this is what popped up.  Rockville blu tube 70w  amp/HT receiver.

Second was a Nobsound MS-100 MKII HiFi Blue tooth Hybrid amp.  Now, these are fairly inexpensive, case in point, get what you pay for?

Any other recommendations?  Thank you.

Hi OP,

First, thank you for your service.

I also want to suggest, maybe you should unbox your tube gear and add a BT capable streamer or DAC? There’s a very inexpensive DAC ... Topping DX3 Pro I think which has built in BT connectivity. You could play straight off your phone, and if you chose the right radio station I think you could find yourself pulled into listening longer. Lots of other gear like this though.

That’s the cheapest, simplest way to go.

The other way, sell what you have and get a nice receiver. On the reasonably affordable side, I can highly recommend the sound of Arcam and Anthem HT receivers in general. The latter are on sale right now. While I really like both, I want to caution you not to expect them to sound like your tubes, but you get a lot of convenience and features in exchange.

I find myself easily distracted by room acoustics, and noise while I’m out in public. I’m not sure if it is in your budget, but I do recommend you look into that if you have the time. Look into GIK acoustics.

Best,

E
