Best way to spend my money

A digital guy asking the analog group basically so bare with me please...right now i have a VPI scout 2 with a high output Benz mc cartridge....going into a Gold note ph10...a 15 foot run of rca cable into a Pass labs int60...my table is set along a sidewall be cause of no room for the table around the rack.....So my questions is this...I have a grand to spend..should I buy a power supply for my phono amp...should I get a better  low output mc cartridge.. or should I buy xlr cables to run from phono to the integrated...I hear a promise of better things to come and I have no expectations to better my digital setup...thanks

Not only is it affordable, but the Mogami like 2534 quad XLR cable (w/ Neutrik connector) is also one of the lowest-capacitance XLR cables available on the market.  Very dependable and sound good.

Mogami noted above is fine. Many of our treasured records experience mogami right after X microphone…. it’s good to have a few in inventory.

+1 on Mogami XLRs.  My suggestion would be to find a used (or new) SoundSmith MIMC Star cartridge. This cart should work with your phono pre and once they have 100 or so hours playing time on them, they really get holographic and sound amazing. That cartridge, like the Lyra Delos, made me want to explore the more expensive models in the respective lines. The process taught me about the law of diminishing returns. Both the Delos and the MIMC Star are super solid.  The MIMC Star is a little closer in sound to the Benz.  The Delos has that amazing Lyra openness on the top end.

Anyway.  Have fun you cant loose.

Dr bond if you think you need a system that cost 10,000 to 20,000 at least for analog...Your right this isn't for you or the thousands of others who do....come on,learn that dollars or the more you spend the better it sounds...buy smart, buy what fits your needs....it doesn't have to be 20,000 dollars  .Mine is great and it cost less that 5,000 and that's list prices. Not what ivspent.
