Best sounding Broadway recordings?

I would welcome anyone's top 5 list. Also, there are many recordings of "Les Miz", does anyone have an opinion which is the best sounding recording?

I think this is because those who do revivals are always trying to be different. Usually the original performers got it right, so "different" is inferior. IMHO the great shows were back in the 40's and 50's, when audio quality was not up to today's standards. But, for just one example, no one has done "goin to wash that man right out of my hair" like Mary Martin. I have a scatchy old LP to prove it!
