Decware and Omega have nice synergy according to many (including me). I use Decware's SE84UFO with Omega Super 3i's and DeepHemp 8 Subwoofer. Lot's of SET magic for under $3000.
Dennis Had sells his single ended (masterpieces of point to point wired brilliant sounding things) hand made amps for around 1700 bucks more or less, and a pair of Klipsch Heresy IVs (I use a Had amp with Heresy IIIs, and it's the best rig I've owned in decades) are around 3 grand or so.
Not sure why this post didn't generate more response. Seems like a reasonable request for information, although a 5K limit on an SET amp/speaker is a little low even used.
I'm thinking you could get Coincident Frankensteins paired with Coincident Triumph Extreme II for just a bit over 5K. That is a pair that works really well together. I rebuilt the crossovers in my speakers for about $500 and added a sub. Really nice, especially with upper tier 300B tubes.
