Best phono DIY kit


I’m thinking my 12AX7-based Croft phono pre may be improved upon. Are there any kits out there using different topologies which would kick things up a level? MM only and/or SUT is fine. Tube preferred. Budget up to $3k. Thanks.

Too bad the K & K Audio kits are no longer available, that would have been a no-brainer.
