Best digital source for USB dac under 2000 used?

Hi there,

looking for advice on a digital source for my 47 Labs Shigaraki USB dac, into my 47 Labs Gaincard amp. Budget around 2000 euro including second hand.

So, I don’t need an unit with an integrated dac, but that said, many options do have one on board. I’m looking at for example the Innuos Zen Mini mk3 with LPSU, or the Aurender A100.

Interested in a good interplay with my DAC. Not looking for the highest resolution or widest soundstage, but more into accurate tonality.

Any other recommendations? Thanks!

First, try Qobuz if you can because Spotify is a fatal error from a sound quality perspective.  Instead of a Zen Mini with LPSU, just find a used Zen with no need for the LPSU because they’re probably in the same price ballpark.  Best of luck.

Yes, spotify isn’t the best source, but it has a lot of music I don’t otherwise have access to elsewhere…

I should add, I listen mostly to Spotify premium, and tunein radio. I also have a large cd collection but haven’t ripped anything yet. That would make the Innuos with integrated ripper a bit more attractive, but I can also just rip through my computer.
