Berning TF-10 to TF-12. anyone do that?

I was wondering what kind of SQ improvement did you hear? The TF-12 besides the one that was listed this week here. almost never comes up for sale, as well as the TF-10

But I was pondering the benefits, given that the TF-12 goes for almost 2x the TF-10/

Richard...Thanks for the thorough response!! I personally dont need that much switching...all i need is to be able to tape NPR classical music into a reel to reel sometimes.

I am not sure that my system is able to be so precise as to make the improvement aparent?

McIntosh MC40 amps, VPI Scout TT, Parasound CDP-2000, Electrovoice TRXB's and soon Tannoy System 12 DMT monitors..

Palasar...What are the differences sonically between the Mc40's (which I also have) and the ZH270? actually can you tell me about EA 2101 and 230, compared to the MC40's?

I was pondering having an all Berning rig but cant afford the newer models.
