bel canto dac2 hum?

I owned DAC2 and it was dead quiet. No hum, no nothing. It could have benefited from darker background though, but you could only notice it by comparing to much more expensive dacs, costing 2-3 times as much. Other than that, I think it's a great performer. Tough to beat.

Whether or not you get hum depends on whether your system has problematic ground-loops. If you have no ground loops, you will not get hum.
