BAT VK-300X Solid State vs. Tube

Is there much difference in sound quality between Balanced Audio VK-300X integrated solid state model and the one with super tube?

Increased clarity, more explosive dynamics, and smoother presentation were all things I noticed. Some have criticized the Super Tube setup for being too "solid state" sounding, but that hasn't been my experience. Hope this helps.
