I listened to both when auditioning integrated amps, and I went with the Super Tube version. Increased clarity, more explosive dynamics, and smoother presentation were all things I noticed. Some have criticized the Super Tube setup for being too "solid state" sounding, but that hasn't been my experience. Hope this helps.
