B&W Subwoofer speaker repair Philly area

Hello:

looking for a place to repair my B&W ASW 3000 subwoofer.  live near Philly and travel to Boston often so any repair person in this area.

FYI:  Miller does not repair this speaker.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Just a thought- I had an amp issue with my Hsu sub- a local repair shop(highly regarded) quoted me $445 for replacing the amp. I contacted Hsu and had a new one shipped to me for $250. I DON’T blame the shop- they’re in business to keep the lights on. It was pretty straightforward to replace.

My point is that most of these subs use a plate amp of some sort that is usually easily replaceable, so it might be worth checking out. Hsu is small fish vs B@W, so as we say, YMMV.

Appreciate your response:  FYI B&W parts (Encompass) has the Amplifier AA05273 replacement for $2736... REALLY

It looks like it may not be worth Fixing?  I do not know, maybe a simple resistor or something else that may only cost $300 to fix???

Who knows... That is the question I'm looking for.

PEACE

Assuming the trouble is with the amp since you don't specify?

My only piece of B&W gear is a pair of headphones. At some point the ear cushions (or whatever they're called) became weirdly sticky, some issue with the leather used by the factory. The headphones were long out of warranty nor had I proof of purchase, but I figured I'd give B&W US a ring anyway. They apologized and actually sent me a new pair of headphones, and I rnailed the old ones back. I had an amazing experience with B&W's customer care.

Were I in a situation like yours I would definitely give them a call.
