Audioquest Diamondback for Turntable maybe?

Hello there.

Now, realize that you're talking to a guy whose system is wired up with CAT5 cable, Belden telephone cable, and fire alarm wire.  The latter two of which, by the way, constructionwise and materialwise, resemble hi-fi cables that I couldn't afford to buy.
But the other day I took leave of my senses and bought a second-hand meter of AudioQuest Diamondback, mostly because the construction was pretty much how I would make a cable if I made cable.
I was thinking of using it to replace the Monster Cable that a previous owner hung onto my turntable.  I realize that I'm in front of a group that probably thinks I should sell my car to buy cables, but is there any real technical reason that the Diamondback would be inappropriate for a turntable, excessive capacitance, anything like that?
Thank you kindly.
