AUDIO RESEARCH SP-10 MODIFICATIONS

Try Audio Classics- they do sell used ARC and I know they had a lot of work to do on that Marantz 7, which had been bastardized. They won't be cheap. Bill Thalmann, who did a fair amount of pieces for me, passed, sadly. Good luck, the SP-10 has a well deserved place in the history of tube preamps, though a tad microphonic. 

I think I'll give it a couple days and if I can't get something going on it I will just sell it to someone who has the time and money to repair it.............It does work, just not real good and a couple people ask to buy it...........Will

You’re the first person I’ve known or read about that Steve Huntley screwed something up, Steve has had a stellar reputation especially with AR gear” Steve used to work for AR years ago. I met Steve at Haven and Hardesty in Huntington Beach Calif. years ago like back in the late 80,s I believe and had a AR SP 8 tricked out by him. 
something doesn’t add up here but wish u luck. 

Sir:    I am the largest collector of Audio Research in the USA, and I will tell you for a fact that Steve Huntley has screwed up a lot of Audio Research Equipment, so much the they will not work on or repair anything that he has messed up........and there was a reason why he left............
