I have both the water pump and the fans not working. I managed to open the bottom to access the pump, thanks to another thread here. While I’m at it, I’d like to try to fix the fans as well. Could you please send me the repair instructions for fan replacement? My email address is kutu67@gmail.com

I only have the instructions for fan replacement.  Please check with your dealer - they may have the instructions for water pump replacement.

Hello!  Please post these repair instructions and especially the water pump failure fix.  I'm on my second Audio Desk and the first one died with a failed Water Pump.  If there is a way to service these machines without mailing them back to the distributor, that would be of immense help.  Thanks!

Hi Anwar, I got the water pump dead problem too, I try to fix myself, but when I took the bottom plate off, I could not locate the pump position, so I can not drill a hole at random position. Do you know where should I drill and what is the drill size, I think this will help some one try to fix this bad quality machine.

Sounds like its but together cheaply this is why i have the Kl Audio its a much better unit.Good luck.

Hi gmc, maybe due to large number of AD cleaners sent back to Germany for repair, Reiner Glass decided to send repair instructions to the dealers Nov last year.  The local dealer shared the instruction with me.  For replacing the blower fans, the top cover needs to be removed by gentle knocking with mallet.  Once the top cover is removed, the fans are visible.  The fans were glued to the side walls and need to be pried off.

The new fan were installed to the side wall using hot glue gun.  The top cover requires Tangit PVC glue which the dealer gave me.  This whole unit was assembled using glue, no fasteners!

For water pump replacement, the external bottom cover needs to be knocked off and then the internal bottom cover needs to be drilled (large hole) for access to the water pump.  What a design...

anwar, any luck over the last year with your AD cleaner?  or has anybody found a US repair person?

Hi everyone, I hope those who have successfully opened the Audio Desk vinyl cleaner (for service or repair) are kind enough to share the method how to open it.  Thank you so much.

My control board has 4 screws, one in each corner of the panel-- but I assume we may have slightly different models. I hear that Reiner is not good at responding to problem calls. This is unfortunate for such a costly system. Fortunately, I have found UltraSystems, the US importer, to be very responsive.

I live in Malaysia.  The local importer has a spare blower fan and Tangit PVC-U glue which were given to me.  He himself is not a repair man.  Audio Desk never responded to the importer's email about this issue.

I removed the fan wires from the control panel and connected the fan wires directly to the 24V DC power supply.  Only the rear fan spins and the front fan is completely dead.

I have tried removing the 3 screws from the control board and removing the board, but there are no other screws. Very weird design.

Would the logic board and/or access to the interior be located behind the control panel? I haven't checked that myself but it seems like a possibility. Check with the importer---UltraSystem--- for a remedy that may exist beyond the warranty period.
