Audi’s blueMe HD

Connected a Auris blueMe HD Bluetooth device to a Quadraflex 979. Paired just fine but will only operate for about 30 seconds and then seems to lock up. Have moved device away from receiver, repaired a few times with fixing the problem

any suggestions?

Thanks

I have an Auris BlueMe HD and I had the previous version - Auris BlueMe before that. I've had no issues with lockup over the several years I've owned the devices.

The Auris BlueMe HD is a bluetooth receiver. Seems like you've connected yours to a Quadraflex 979 which looks like a vintage stereo receiver, correct? What you've connected the bluetooth receiver to should have no affect on it connecting, and staying connected to the device from which you are transmitting the bluetooth stream. What device are you pairing with the Auris BlueMe HD? Are you using it within the range of the BlueMe? My two Auris BlueMe devices have had very good connectivity from quite a distance, however you may want to insure you stay relatively close and see if the lockup issue abates. Also, do you have another device that you can pair to the BlueMe HD to see if it also suffers from the same lockup issues?

Is your device new? If so, and you continue to have lockup issues, you may want to reach out to Auris for assistance. The unit may be defective.

Good luck. I hope you get it sorted. I've enjoyed both on my Auris BlueMe devices over the years and they have worked flawlessly.

I agree with @reubent . I also have the previous version, but have not used it for more than 1 1/2 years. When I used it, it never locked upon me. The connectivity was pretty good too. If you can RESET (remove and re-pair) the connections to the devices. Make sure to cold boot (remove power cord physically and do not attach for 2-3 minutes) the Auris before you try to re-pair. If that does not work, then contact Auris. Maybe you got a defective piece - not sure.

Good luck.
