The last thing a CD player or DAC needs is a tube output. All it does is add harmonic distortion and noise - which increases with age and use.

In my mid-winter search for audio components, I stumbled on Astin Trew Tube based CD player. It got great reviews in the day, but not much press recently.
Not even able to find the US distributor which is a little concerning. But has anyone heard their CD player and have any experience with performance and reliability etc.
