Artwork And Acoustic Foam

I have covered the walls in my livestreaming space in acoustic foam to assist with sound quality. I also have a significant amount of framed art I'd like to hang. My question is: if I were to hang up my framed art over top of the foam, would the foam beneath it no longer be doing its job? I'm still pretty new to the dynamics of audio quality.

Sort of. You’d end up making that surface more reflective, but may still benefit from low frequency absorption.

If you insist on keeping your framed art, mix them with high performance panels.

Cheap egg crate foam kind of sucks. Strongly suggest you talk to GIK Acoustics for very high quality and low cost products.
