I've long been puzzled as to why some users simply can't resist engaging in politics here. Perhaps one or more can explain it. What's the point? I'd really like to know. After all, it's inevitable that the comments (or entire thread) will be deleted.
Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?
For me there is one that has always been top of the list.
Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.
Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..
Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.
Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

@cleeds it's a tricky question. I can't speak for others. For me, it's not NOT resisting. It's that politics is not what it used to be - one of the things that affect me and I hear about and maybe discuss with someone once a week. With what's happening today, it's literally on top of me, like a 500 pound gorilla. It's 90% of all of our lives. It's not politics anymore, it's is now just what the consumes the day from dusk till dawn. The administration is in everything, every nook and corner of citizens' business, changing and controlling what we can and cannot do. It's hard to form a sentence without acknowledging it. Some people call it engaging in politics. For me, it's acknowledging what's happening. Is it affecting audio prices? My ability to afford audio gear? Yes and yes... |
