Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

For me there is one that has always been top of the list.

Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.

Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..

Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.

Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

”Poorly phrase?” @markalarsen

My thinking too (poor English) from the comments of our US correspondent when l read his reply.

George Bernard Shaw said, “Two Nations divided by a common language”

“American” (if a real language) is a bastardised language. Leads to all sorts of misunderstandings.

Maybe a typo? Benefit of the doubt? Shall will let him off (not like a firework, we don’t want a misunderstanding) on that one? “Poorly Phrase” could be like, American “math” V English “Maths”….another bastardisation. (US…Bastardization)

Better not be too rude, we could end up with litigation proceedings and find ourselves in court. So let’s “drop the dead donkey” (English expression) and leave it at that.

An interesting discussion all the same. Perhaps it’s best to just let us agree to disagree?

It was just a typo on Mark's part I'm sure, but I called it out jokingly because he was calling out someone else's error. No harm intended.
