Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

For me there is one that has always been top of the list.

Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.

Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..

Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.

Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

I'm totally baffled about the Piaf / racist juxtaposition in the original post though. The woman was whiter than Casper the ghost.

Racist can be nationality as well as colour. Being English and choosing a French singer could have implied that. The 19th Century wars are over and we are Euro friends now. Just to say, l like Quincy Jones. His jazz film soundtrack arrangements were always so musically colourful…….The Running Man, In Cold Blood, They Call me Mister Tibbs…..
