Are my " diamond " tweeters really diamond

Could my diamond tweeters be coated with zircons and not real diamonds. I paid a lot of extra money for those diamonds.

@musicaddict - You are right that none of them are "natural" diamonds. I suspect some of the most famous brands with diamond tweeters may be coated with diamond dust from natural diamonds like the common nail file.

The most ridiculous use of actual single crystal diamonds is probably from the likes of Accuton and the Chemical Vapor Deposition they use for their mids and tweeters.

I’m afraid Accuton for me falls into the twin categories of amazing engineering and not really interesting to listen to.

As I have mentioned, material is one thing, Motor, suspension and cavity behind the dome is another.

While diamond tweeters can be among the very best, they can also be incredibly mediocre. Same for Be, and AMT, dome's and rings.

It's also a bit of a shame tweeters cost as much as they do. They take a disproportionate amount of money and attention I think.

Best,
