You really need to call Rogue and ask them if it will work.
It may save you a ton of grief.
Anyone subbing E80CC/ 6085 for 12au7 in their Rogue Audio gear?
I just purchased a Cronus Magnum II from a seller, and wanted to start rolling tubes. I noticed that owners find that among the signal/driver tubes the one center 12au7 pre tube makes the most if not all the difference regarding the complement of small tubes. after looking up various 12au7 NOS and recent production offerings (I have NOS Mullard, RCA and Brimar 12au7 that I will try), the E80CC/ 6085 was stated as a viable option and touted by many to be a ’superior’ 12au7 replacement choice. Has anyone here tried using the E80CC/ 6085 in their Rogue gear?
