Anyone Paid Tariffs on Chinese Imports Lately?

I am considering buying a piece of equipment from China but I am concerned that imports duties will make the item more than I'm willing to pay.

Have you paid import tariffs on a >$1000 Chinese import recently. If so please describe.

I ended up buying a used Terminator II and Iris DDC so I didn't have to worry about the long shipping time or potential duties.
