Anyone know a good place to have pre-Compli Theta transports worked on?
I recently contacted Theta and they said they don't work on the pre-Compli transports. Any know a good place to have the other Theta transports worked on?
If your problem is the common one of the disc drawer no longer opening, you can do what I did: buy a new belt (that turns the drawer-opening gear), and put it in place of the old one yourself. Very easy, and almost free.
bdp24----I don't actually have a Theta transport yet. I owned the Miles back in the day and it was a fine player so I thought I'd look into their transports as I'll be needing one soon. I'd just like to know someone services them competently. Thanks
