Anyone experienced a London Decca Reference cartridge?

At the level you're at, you should know better than let that thought  enter your mind-there  ALWAYS  is something "better."

Moving iron//Decca super carts on appropriate setups are capable of "WOW" just like MC.

The Decca cartridges are really bad trackers. They are a combination of high and low compliance. Of all my TT's/arms I would only trust my Sony DD with the Biotracer arm to handle the Decca. Anyway, for the cost of a Decca you could get a Koetsu Black mc. A superior cartridge!

I have one and agree that it sounds really fantastic. No cantilever...

Tracking is another issue. I will try it on a Ortofon RS 309D when I finally get the arm mounted to the TT.

Be careful, the output of the  London will overwhelm many phono preamplifiers.

I think it is among the very best if handled correctly.

Dear @mglik  : I owned some cantilever-less  top cartridges and other that's " immediacy " kind of sound nothing that can make that WOW because no matters what are very bad trackers and this means less signbal information for your ears. Only an opinion.

In the long run your Atlas SL outbeats easily.
