Had both, preferred the JC3. The Cube was too noisy in my system for whatever reason. It was more prone to external noise problems. I’ve gone away from SS phono pre’s and much prefer tubes now. A bit more $$ but the Herron VTPH and the Rogue Audio Ares are good choices...
