Any Dealings With This Company?

Stumbled across this website that has gear with great prices, Lyons-Video.com in the UK, and was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them?

Yes, I don't need to be told that if the prices  are too good to be true, they probably are. However by all accounts the company seems legit.  They're a UK registered company and you can find their VAT information and such online.  I asked for photos and they sent me some with their trade-mark stamp on the photos.

Their website seems to be put together well, however there is some outdated material on their main page. They have a whatsapp number and other contact information listed. No actual names, not even just the first name, of anyone associated with the company on the website.

The big red flag for me though is they only accept wire transfer and bitcoin. I'm in the US and it scares the bejeebies out of me doing an international transaction without some sort of buyer protection. Should I ask them to send me the item first and then I'll pay? Hah!

My heart really really really says: YES, DO IT! My brain really really really says: NO, DON'T DO IT! So far, the brain is winning...

It would be appreciated if this thread did not vector too far off course...

Yea, I would tread carefully.  Also need to check that the main input voltage is US compatible.

Didn't mean to imply any experience with this particular company but the red flags you mention (crypto currency or direct wire) would have me very skeptical.  But being a UK company they probably mainly have equipment designed for 230 volt mains.

I recently bought an Icon preamp which is built in the UK but they referred me to their distributor in Canada for the US market version.
