Amplifiers and Dynaudio C2 signatures

Anyone experienced with a pass lab x350.5? Krell e series, Mcintosh,Mark Levinson ? Please let me know, Thank you
dskinner5
Looking at the C3 and C4 the impedance between 100hz and 250hz is around 3ohms, with a negative phase angle of -45 degrees, C2 could be the same.
This makes them needy of an amp that can deliver a fair bit of current.

Pass Labs = fine
Krell e Series = better
Mac tube = no
Mac solid state with output transformer = ?
MarK Levinson = which model?

Cheers George

I have looked at the Pass Labs X350.5, or the krell 403 evolution? Does it have to be 403E or just the evolution series? The mac wa MC305?( I`m not to familiar with these. )  Mark Levinson 532 or 432 not the H model. They are new and losing value already. I have a Lexicon ZX-7 now. I have not tried it yet. I really dont need the 7 channel amp. My pre is Anthem AMV50V.  Power chords are audience, and interconnects are Chord Anthem with Dyn ocos speaker cables all plugged into a Panamax ex5500. I dont have a problem to sell off what I have an d start fresh, but where ? I think the pre is decent unit. I just wanted to warm it up with a nice amp with enough oomph to push the power hungry Dyns.

Moon amps mate very well with Dynaudio. I  listened to a C-4 driven by a Moon 600i in a huge room and it was very impressive, the entire room was immersed in great sound.
What about a solid state amp? If I go integrated I have to buy a whole new set up.
No affiliation with the seller, but there's a Coda 15.5 on Audiogon right now. That amp--if you are seeking serious clarity, a just-right touch of warmth, and the ability to drive lower-impedance loads with ease--is tough to beat, IMO. If I didn't already have their S12.5 and pretty easy-to-drive speakers, I'd be all over it.

Coda makes tremendous stuff, IMHO, and it's priced very fairly for the sonics on tap.
I would suspect the Moon amps will be as good or better than the IA since the PA/Amp will be separated. The IA is no slouch by any means, but you would need to stay in the same line, of amps, to get a fair comparison. Moon’s Evolution series amps are among the best (thats subjective)

I ment to say the 600i, had no problem driving the C-4, regardless of volume levels everything was clean and detailed.

Not to create any additional confusion but Modwright amps are also worth consideration and audition if possible.
Add the Parasound JC1 monos to your list.  It goes toe-to-toe with every amp you listed.

I'd scratch any Mac and the ML 432.
Upgrading is fun yet frustrating. You just don't have resources to audition everything.

I want what everyone wants clear clean detailed mids with nice tight bass in a warm rich sound, but not too warm. Neutral but not too neutral.

I have a Mint condition Lexicon ZX-7 for sale. The amp has maybe 50 hours on it. I did find a Pass lab x350.5,just need to sell the Lexicon.

I'd get a better pre. I think Pass goes with either a Pass pre XP 20 at least or a tube pre like Cary SLP 05 or ARC Ref 5 SE at least.
I forgot. if you want to go the integrated route, the Gryphon Diablo will work very well too.

By all means, keep the pre and try it out first.
I will see if I can sell it first, I bought it new with the arc from Anthem. I have read good things about the Moon 860A and pre740A? I will also check out the IA. I want to have the current and power to push these if I want. I`m not sure the IA will do that, or I`m lacking knowledge of them. Let me know your thoughts.
The other brand that works quite well with Dyn's is Karan Acoustics.

Gives a very musical full bodied sound and holographic imaging.
I have a random question. I have a Rel R528 and a Lexicon amp that is fully balanced. Can I use the nuetrix connection on this amp?
I've been driving my c4 with Ayon Tritton 3 integrated with great results.  Clean detailed mids with tight bass.
