Rotel is decent, entry level gear. However, reputations are built over a long period of time, and Rotel’s likely will follow the Michi line, no matter how good it may be. I think that resale value and reliability also have to be considered in this particular circumstance, given the cost of the components versus the reputation on which they are riding.
