Please tell me whether you can hear a VERY low, nearly imperceptible buzz/hum when the unit is in standby. It is only audible if your ear is virtually to the unit and disappears when the unit is powered on.

I've had an incredible run of bad luck with my equipment of late and I guess it has me paranoid.

However it is so low it does not interfere with the musical experience. By the way, when I get up some time I'd like to do a quick review of this unit. It's marvelous!!
