Thanks, I figured it was normal but I thought I would check. I've had an incredible run of bad luck with my equipment of late and I guess it has me paranoid.

Please tell me whether you can hear a VERY low, nearly imperceptible buzz/hum when the unit is in standby. It is only audible if your ear is virtually to the unit and disappears when the unit is powered on.
