Thx Glenn. I think I just needed someone to temper my zeal. They were selling for $200 so it was tempting and surprised not to find any meaningful content or opinions on line. The only other set fir same item was $799 ( no interest, but they looked pristine.
ADS SAT-6
I own quite a few Small or Bookshelf ADS speakers 200, L200, L300, L300c, 300i, 780/2. and several other smaller speakers and a couple really fine early floor standers from Yam and Klipsch. I ran across a for sale post for the SAT-6 but was surprised after hours of searching in general and the typical 6 sites, I could not find any meaningful info, comparison, reviews or a spec sheet or original sales brochure. With its name, assume it is intended for Audio Video and not intended as a stand alone bookshelf speaker. Trying to understand how "Musical" they may be for 2 channel set up. I recognize this was produced near the end of the ADS life, so not sure if that original L series quality shines through. I probably have enough speakers but just saw these and got that "itch" again.
