For some reason the 555 was notorious for having it’s power supply capacitors going bad and leaking (I had one that did, one that didn’t---or hadn’t yet; both were the Mk.2 version). Was the same true of the 565?

have 565 adcom mono blocks with dc leakage/should i fix and upgrade or get rid off them

Your GFA-565 had some bad 220uf caps caused the DC leakage:
