A list of efficient speakers at ~$5K a pair.

Specifically I am searching for those speakers possessing a relatively flat 8ohm impedance curve and a true (8ohm) 92db sensitivity that are at a cost of $5000 USD.

I currently own Fritz Carbon 7s SE  MK2.

++++1 for the Volti Razz

I do not own them (I may very well buy their big brother Luceras in 2025), but I do get to listen to them on occasion as 2 friends own them. 97db at 6 ohms so easy to drive, and dynamic as hell, can be found for under $5,000 used for sure. They seem to match up well with SS and tube amps

Not sure how their frequency response measures, as it is so room dependent

@vthokie83 I have researched the Volti Razz. Living in southern Illinois allows a trip to the factory for a listen. I have to say that i think they may be too much for my room.

Understood. Still might be worth a conversation with Greg, he's great to talk to and may have an opinion one way or the other

I went to the link that @elliottbnewcombjr provided for the Volti Razz and it sounds like they do it all.  Big room or small room and high sensitivity and $5500 if no paint or finish . . . but it also sounds like once you've got them you've got them and if you don't like them you've still got them?

@vthokie83 Yes, being able to talk with the designer/builder is truly an advantage. That is why, beyond great sound, I like owning gear from John (Fritz Speakers) and Aric (Aric Audio).
