A B JPS evaluation

Hello, I am a big fan of JPS cables and yes I know all about Joe,  and what's going on with him as far as cables go. The reason for my inquire is has anyone ever done a SERIOUS A B  comparison using JPS Superconductor 3 Versus JPS Aluminata speaker cables, yes I own SC 3 and looking to upgrade would the Aluminata's be a WOW! factor or not worth the extra HUGE BUCKS.. Thanks for reading Audiogoners  & take care...

Spend the big bucks because then confirmation bias will make you hear an improvement.

Anyway, you will need to borrow a pair of Aluminata's to do an A/B comparison. Why do you have the itch to replace the SC3's? Wire is not like a vacuum tube where use leads to a decline in performance. These wire companies spin a tale to justify spending more for an upgrade. All of course without any valid unsighted A/B comparison!

From 1992 to 2015 I used a twenty-foot pair of Mogami 2477 Blue Neglex 14ga OFC copper cables to connect to my KLH Nine full-range ESL's. I bought it from my local HiFi dealer as an intact 40-foot piece that he received as a demo. I paid $1 a foot - $40! I cut it in half and stripped and terminated the ends with banana plugs. Once installed it worked perfectly. I never felt anything lacking sound wise. Alas, I stupidly left it behind when I moved to Florida in 2015.

As you are already a JPS owner and apparently a serious customer, you should contact a dealer or JPS directly to arrange a home demo or at least a store demo. I have no experience with JPS specifically, but I have found cable changes to run the gamut from absolutely no difference to jaw-dropping.  And I don’t think there’s any way to predict in advance.
