ARCAM AVR600 Reliability Issues We have sold 30+ of the 600,s from our store. I think I had 2 that I sold that needed updates. I don't believe I have had an issue with one in about 2 years. (Give or take) the new firmware seems to have resolved the early issues some people exper...
question on shipping a cd player from overseas?? It's possible I guess. It's pretty hard for me to get things to Russia. Crazy weight restrictions. Something small like a dac I can get there. Some counties have some crazy laws. I would have expected him to know that before hand though.
25.00 flat rate shipping It would be a good deal for you IF its a higher priced piece, and IF it sells. If not, you pay as much as you would have after 6 months of listing it. I guess for me, I'll stick with the standard listing.
The issue of lowballing... What does that mean? Orelayer, you are of course correct. I did waste more time typing my opinion than ignoring 100 "lowball" offers. The difference is, I chose to do so. When I get a prompt from Agon that says "buyer offer" I'm inclined to stop and read it. If its ri...
When buying through Agon a buyer should always- My account gets locked on a pretty regular basis. The first time it happened, I contacted audiogon and asked if it was legit, and why. Turns out someone in Florida repeatedly tries to access my account. I'm in Wisconsin. If you go to "my page" you...
The issue of lowballing... What does that mean? I don't think Polk has issues at all. Maybe he, like me, is sick of the B.S. offers he gets. Even if I don't bother to reply, it's still an irritating waste of my time. Stop it already. You simply NEVER get anything that way, guaranteed.
Need multi-channel that's great on 2 channel Jeff, just in case you are not aware, you can use the extra channels to your front speakers for biamping on the Arcam 600.
Need multi-channel that's great on 2 channel The Arcam 600 is great on 2 channel. I had one in my own room for quite some time. I reluctantly sold it to a customer that kept asking me for it. I ended up with Arcam separates to replace it cause that's what I had available. I could have lived ...
Sunfire Cinema 7 replacement I went from a full Sunfire separate system in my own home theater, to all Arcam gear. (the amp is a P7) I prefer the Arcam. I still have both. The Sunfire is now in my living room. For the heck of it, I recently swapped the Sunfire back into my ma...
The issue of lowballing... What does that mean? Superbike, Your idea of the value of a product, regardless of audio, or motor vehicle, or whatever, is realistic. You strike me as a good person to deal with. Just for the record, I'm not talking about 30 cents on the dollar for what something was...
The issue of lowballing... What does that mean? Being a business, or hobbyist, is irrelevant. Granted, the business is normally not going to take a loss. The hobbyist will, to a certain degree. I don't think a hobbyist is going to take 10 cents, (or less) on the dollar either. Why would they? A...
The issue of lowballing... What does that mean? superbike, its got nothing to do with what I think is a fair price. (I already know that) I'm talking about the drop dead ridiculous offers. Even the items I list as firm still get these offers. I'd love a $50,000 pair of speakers, or a $30,000 am...
Odd length speaker cables I don't believe 99.9% of people could tell the difference. Granted, its not optimal, (on paper) but, can YOU hear it? In a blind test, I would put my money on no every time.
speaker switch box quality If you are very serious, most likely yes. I use an Adcom GFS-3 to do exactly that. It switches from my living room, to my deck speakers. Its not my main system. I can't say I have ever noticed anything negative with it, but, I don't use it for cri...
Proac Super Tablette The ProAcs are great. I was a dealer for many years, but, not any more. I still use response 3's at home. They are my all time favorite speaker. I'm sure there is better, but at the price, really hard to beat. |
