Does anyone have any info on the woodwork on the CS3.7? Is it solid wood or is there a veneer on it? I will talk with Rob Gillum next week or the week after Thanksgiving. In the meantime does anyone have any info on the wood panels. I would be int...

@hifi28 In my even smaller room I got the CS3.7 to work very good and this was with a nightmarish COAX situation (slowly resolving). My room is acoustically treated. I know almost all the posts on A’gon say the CS3.7 requires a fairly large room, ...
What is the best audiophile speaker for a tiny square room?
@chungjh Yesterday I was testing out how loud I could take my speakers since I am replacing the tweeter and midrange (COAX) next week on my Thiel CS3.7. So if I blew them no big deal. Normally I sit with my back to the speakers with my head lookin...
What is the best audiophile speaker for a tiny square room?
@zaphod2006 I had the Audience 1+1 and the KEF LS50 driven by a Peachtree Nova 150 in the the same room for a few months. The 1+1 was 2x the cost and I wanted to like it more than the LS50 however, I could not get it to sound good. The imaging was...

@chungjh Great that you got panels coming your way. It will open up a world of possibilities for your speaker selection.I chose the Thiel CS3.7 because I always wanted it. It was my second favorite all-time speaker and a local sale came up, so I w...
What is the best audiophile speaker for a tiny square room?
I just put in Thiel CS 3.7 in a slightly larger room than yours. I removed a closet door to give me a bit more space, especially the space from my head to the wall behind me. I am assuming your space is a dedicated listening space. https://systems...

@arafiq  The guy to go on the CODA gear is teajay. He has stirred the pot up pretty good around here getting the word out on the new CODA gear, specifically the #8 and #16.I was actually thinking of the #8 to pair with my new Thiel CS3.7s + Benchm...
Stereophile Awards 2020
Just looked at the NAD web site and could not tell if the unit is a ROON endpoint. If it is can you stream wirelessly from a ROON server?I have some orphaned KEF LS50’s and this unit would work great for me if that type of streaming is possible. A...

I never got the accolades given to the Cowboy Junkies "Trinity Sessions" album when I listened to it with all the other semi-decent systems I had. With the CS3.7 I get this album. Rather brilliant recording on the 3.7's.

@jafant Congrats.  I was going back and reading this thread starting where I join in with my drama.  I had remembered that someone who actually owned the 3.7 and 2 x AHB2's AND was a classical musician said that the single AHB2 was preferred over...

@vair68robert  That is something to consider since I already have a speaker repair tech available to help me now. 1) I have to fix the broken thread on the LEFT speaker frame for one of the screws. I have  repair kit being shipped for that. Hopefu...

I was about to buy a second AHB2 last night on USAudiomart, but my PayPal was not setup the way I wanted. It will be tempting in 2 business days once my account is adjusted. Smarter move maybe be to pay a little more and do a home trial. One thing ...
Integrated amp -- Pass Labs vs Luxman vs McIntosh
The new CODA integrated I believe has similar tech as the CODA #8 amp that lot of people are raving about. You should check them out since I think they are giving you a lot bang for the buck. The PASS guy(s) and CODA guy(s) came from the same comp...
