| El34 vs. KT88 I have used both types in my Quicksilver amps. The KT88 has a bigger brighter sound. The EL34 has a more laid back sound. With Vandersteens (a laid back sounding speaker)I would go with a KT88 tube amp. | |

| Integrated Amp to pair with Spendor S6E I had those speakers and I used them with Quicksilver mid mono's. You can use el34 or kt88 with those amps so you can tube roll with no problem. Those speakers will sound real nice with kt88's. | |
| Vocals sound slightly high pitched? This might be a shot in the dark. Fool around with the anti skating adjustment,sometimes that can mess things up. | |
