| Woofer pumping WHY?? The tonearm mass is a low 8.5 grams ,the cartridge has a compliance of 15 (on the low side). That combination looks like a mismatch to me. You can try a headshell weight to add some mass to the arm and see if that improves the problem. | |

| best value current production tonearm Check out the SME 309 or the less expensive M2-9. They are both medium mass ( 9.5 grams) and work great with a whole range of cartridges. BTW,I have the 309 and it betters the many arms that I have owned before. | |
| Phono preamp with two inputs: two MMs or MM+MC? You would have to use a linestage preamp and use separate stand alone mm phono preamps into the aux inputs in the linstage preamp to do that. BTW,what is your phono preamp plugged into now? |
