Let google be your friend. I found a site in japanese that give the specs for these using "yamaha ns 100m". Google will even do somewhat of a translation for you. I hope this will give you the info you are looking for.
McIntosh repairs - who?
He isn't in So.Cal. but I think one of the best, if not the best, and by far most reasonable is Terry Dewick for vintage McIntosh gear. I believe he lives in Tennessee and can easily be found with a google search. I would at least call and talk to...
Cars. What does the typical audiophile drive?
1992 BMW 325i and 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. But I am not an audiophile.
Bluebook value of records
There is no such animal that I am aware of. There are price guides that give values based on condition, but I put very little value in their pricing. You might find this site informative for top prices paid, but that will be dependent on which genr...
Anyone plan on driving from east coast to midwest?
I have seen audio sites where they have a section set aside for just such purposes. It seems to have worked well on lots of occasions.
Static in the balance knob, what can I do?
I would suggest a product called DeOxit contact cleaner to clean the contacts. Simple to use. After spraying the contacts in the switch, work the switch 30-50 times, let it dry and it should be good to go. Deoxit is supposed to be better than the ...
When will your system be enough?
Even though I realize there is better out there, I am content. While I really enjoy audio, I also enjoy eating on a regular basis and there is alot to be said about having a roof over my head. It gives me the warm fuzzies on a cold winter evening....

Can a vintage piece over 40 years old be Highend
My whole system is vintage and I love it. All of the capacitors have been upgraded and they sound great to me. I can't afford the new stuff, so vintage was my only recourse. But having given it a try, I am well pleased. I have my system listen in ...
Horns for Rock.
Altec is another speaker you really ought to investigate before making a final decision.
Finally Lurked for 2 years, then bought......Rega
Congrats Joe. It sounds like you are enjoying listening to your music, not your system. Keep it up. I wouldn't change a thing as long as it is satisfying you. Enjoy!-Steve

Can anything beat Vintage Amps for the $$$?
Thanks for your comments Rich. I was fortunate to find these vintage items already restored. I bought them from a local tech who had owned them for many years. He had been a design engineer for 20 years with Motorola and these were the amps he use...
Can anything beat Vintage Amps for the $$$?
I guess I will chime in on this one, although I usually just read.About 4 months ago I bought a pair of (60's) McIntosh MC40 tube amps locally. I can't compare them to new equiptment, since I have never owned any. But I will say that if my system ...
