Does anyone have any recent experience with Kharma loudspeakers?
@joeinid  I had never heard them but was pleased with overall sound.  I heard them versus several other brands and was shocked how much better they sounded than the M series Magico’s.  Interestingly, I was looking for amplifiers and pre amps when ...
Interested in any feedback from current Kharma or Vivid speaker owners
Do you have any comments or feedback on a comparison between the VIVID Giya 2's versus either the Wilson Audio Sasha Daw or Alexia 2's?  I have had several sets of B&W speakers and one pair in a smaller setup so I like the Vivid sound.  Do you...
Silver cables added resolution
I had the opportunity a few weeks ago to hear both copper and silver speaker cables on multiple set ups.  In every combination you could easily hear more detail on the silver speaker cables. The background music came alive and provided significant...

Upgrading from Martin Logan ESL15a w/Force subs to Wilson Sasha Daw or Alexia 2 w/JL subs
James633,I think the MX160 has a pass through for 2 channel.  I will be doing 2 subs.  The CR-1 will be connected to the 2 channel but I think there is a connection from the MX160 via a manual switch to have both subs connected to the LFE.  Using ...
Upgrading from Martin Logan ESL15a w/Force subs to Wilson Sasha Daw or Alexia 2 w/JL subs
James633,I was planning on adding the JL Audio CR-1 Sub Crossover.  Is this what you are referencing?  I will have both the C2700 and the MX160 connected into my amps and use a switch to alternate between the 2 channel and Home Theater.  Let me kn...
Upgrading from Martin Logan ESL15a w/Force subs to Wilson Sasha Daw or Alexia 2 w/JL subs
Audiorusty,Really appreciate your feedback.  If was just listening to music on 2 channel I am inclined to agree more.  I will have the system set up as well for Home Theater. While the Wilson's can handle the bass I feel that subs will give that e...

Yes, you should check them out for a variety of reasons but better transition from the mids' to bass and significantly better tonality in my opinion.  Have never heard the Focal's.  Maybe I should be checking them out!!

Erik,  I appreciate your feedback. Can you help me understand the adjustments to the Roon a little better. Also, you mention the subs from JL are very good but you also mention that my bass is overkill.  I’ve always operated with subs in my system...

McIntosh MX160 2 channel with Roomperfect
Thanks. As you say 2 channel is 2 channel.  My issue is that because it is only playing 2 channel and no subs I’m missing out on a significant of bass. This is because the Roomperfect directed most of the bass below a certain frequency to the subs...
