DAC for Aurender N200 I'm using my Aurender N200 with a Holo Audio May KTE DAC via USB and I'm very happy. I did try coaxial but thought the USB sounded better.
DAC for Aurender N200 @soix Clocks are not as important for USB compared to the other connections. Also, the N200 only uses a TCXO clock and not an OCXO clock like the N20. Big difference!
Lumin U2 or Aurender N200 I'm using a DH Labs Mirage USB cable with my N200. Very good results.
Aurender N200 Streamer I liked USB better on mine with my Holo Audio May KTE DAC. Remember the N200 only has a TCXO clock versus a OCXO clock on the N20. This makes zero difference if you use the USB though.
Friends hi-fi system not very good, what do you do or say? Easy solution! Have him listen to your system and he will start asking many questions on how to improve his!
Audio envy - dang! I bought one cable from them a couple years back and their customer service was horrible. They evidently do big installation jobs, and the owner can be out of his office for weeks. No confirmation EMAIL after my order and several voicemails and em...
Why does Audiogon need my phone number to send private messages I just don't send private messages anymore, so problem solved! They don't need my phone number and won't get it!
Why tube rectification? I'll be the devil's advocate here. I just bought an all-tube higher end preamp that uses all tube except for the rectification. It even has a tube voltage regulator. My concern about tube rectification was the heat generated and the high failure r...
PayPal Friends & Family listings. Why is this becoming so common? My last listing a few weeks ago on Audiomart was F&F at the request of the buyer. Honestly, I didn't see a downside for me (Seller). I'm not a dealer and things I sell are always at a huge loss so I wouldn't get taxed anyway. It's just more pa...
Solid state amp to replace my Audio Research Ref 150 amp You people understand this original post was over 8 years old!
Does anyone on AG truly care anymore about objectivity & sincerity of Magazine reviews? I stopped subscribing to TAS years ago and now only subscribe to Stereophile. Robert Harley at TAS has some good articles, but it turns me off they do no measurements! The problems with these magazines are they for the most part only review produc...
Stand Mount Speakers for Classic Rock that sound alive at lower volumes ? 100% agree with the Klipsch
Tube Amp or Tube Pre Amp I'm using a BAT VK-80 Tube Preamp with a CODA #8 solid state amp. I considered getting an all-Tube Amp but decided against it. The downside is higher power tube amps are not cheap. Also consider they get very hot and have expensive power tubes use...
Pass labs krell parasound amps I'm using a Coda #8 V1. I was using it with a Holo Audio Serene KTE preamp with excellent results but now have it paired with a new BAT VK-80 Tube preamp. It's a magical pairing especially with my Magnepan speakers! The V1 amp has heatsinks for a ...
Interconnect Break In? IMHO most components don't break in. Your ears on the other hand do adjust to the new sound. Speakers possibly are the exception to this with mechanical parts moving air. Individual components in electronic audio gear have such tight tolerances th... |
