Better Amp for Cornwall IV's... "You own an amp with unlimited dynamic headroom?"Maybe a slight exaggeration but all the same a great sounding powerful vintage stereo receiver.Bill
Better Amp for Cornwall IV's... "If the Cornwalls are like my Heresys, you don't want to short them on power. They need a little juice to get jumping."The best my Heresys/Heresy IIs jumped was with a Luxman R-117(why did I sell it to DeanG?) with it's 160w/ch and unlimited dynam...
Better Amp for Cornwall IV's... "I have the Denon DCD1600NE SACD player and love it! That's what got me jazzed about the Denon amp; that and it's 4-Ohm power rating and gorgeous looks. (Yes, I know I'm weird.)"Not weird at all. I like cosmetically "matching" gear like my Yama...
Better Amp for Cornwall IV's... As mentioned on the Klipsch Forum, I really do think you would be happy with the Denon PMA-1600NE. I don't think you will squeeze any more "performance" out of the Denon over the Parasound combo but you might like the synergy better. Who knows u...

Acurus A200five I own/have owned two 200FIVE's as well as two A200's, two A150's, two A250's, one A200x3, one 200x3, one A100x3, and one A100, and all have been rock solid performers with my very efficient Klipsch speakers.Though the 200FIVE is spec'd at 200w/ch@...
For Anthem AV Enthusiasts I am sure they will continue with the rock solid reliable and performing gear.Bill
Filter capacitance-how does it relate to amplifier performance? I'm no engineer but, transformer size, filter capacitance, output devices, rail voltage, etc. all play a huge roll in amplifier power. You can have an amp with a larger transformer, medium capacitance, and more output devices that will "perform" ...
accessories4less.com " Are you sure you posted a review about the correct speaker? The speakers you mentioned are bookshelf speakers. They don't sit on spikes. And they are far from being "junk". I own a pair."@nghy9700 was referring to the Canton speaker stands....
accessories4less.com I have had nothing but positive experiences with A4Less since 2014. I recommend them all the time. If you don't mind me asking, what was your negative experience? Not cool to remove negative reviews unless proven unwarranted.Bill
Luxman 505uXlI vs Cary SLI-100 Luxman/Klipsch would be my choice.Bill
Outstanding Customer Service From SVS! Same situation happened to me a few years back. Pulled out the bad amp, shipped it to SVS, and they shipped a new one back to me. Maybe an 8 day turnaround. I was the second owner also.Bill
Looking for recommendation for a 3 way book shelf speaker with very good bass. I know my suggestion is not a 3 way design, but get yourself hold of a pair of Klipsch RB-75s and most of your boxes will be checked. Great dynamics and very acceptable bass response for a pair of “bookshelf” speakers. Or if you want to spend a ...
The most criminal practice in the speaker industry revealed!! Keep reading If I buy a pair of speakers without knowing it's measurements, then I made a decision based on looks, sound character, brand recognition, size, etc. I guess that would be a decision made by an adult with a free will with no one to blame but mysel... |
