@jerkface - Unfortunately I do not make cables for others - for various reasons. But there are members that willHowever, the parts are a little expensive + time/effort to build - the price gets up there.Let me know if interested and I'll put you in...

@jerkface - have you considered wire type, wire material, insulation?.Wire type: solid wire is far superior to stranded wireWire Material: UP-OCC solid Silver is best, but to keep it reasonable then use UP-OCC solid copperInsulation has an impact ...
Initial disappointment with 1st set of “expensive’ IC’s...
I've had cables that continue to improve up to 400 hours of playingTypically I put them on my streamer 24/7 for at least 150 hours before any serious assessment. The burn-in process is different from cable to cable- some save their best performance...

@wig - did you try the cables with the UP-OCC copper neutral on your main rig yet?And the verdict?I am very interested to hear if there were noticeable improvements over the silver coated Mil-Spec neutral versionCheers - Steve

+1 what @jond says.If YOU enjoy the sound then stick with a known entity and replace the tweeters - getting a suitable replacement speaker can be a real headacheRegards - Steve
Would silver cables beat UP-OCC copper?
@nonoise - When you say jumpers - are you using the metal jumpers that come with the speaker? If you are, then yes, the jumpers are the issue- but rather the making a second set of cables try some quality jumpers like these ones on @grannyring 's s...

@nonoise - thank you for that link - I just wished I had seen it when it was published. It would have save me a lot of time :-)I guess my first learning experience WRT cables and the effects/impacts of capacitance was around 10 years ago - I purch...
Would silver cables beat UP-OCC copper?
@audioquest4life - seems to make no sense, correct? The short answer - any wire with insulation applied directly to it is worse than bare wire in Teflon tubeBut the long answer - if interested...In a capacitor the dielectric is applied directly to ...
Would silver cables beat UP-OCC copper?
@dave_72 RE:... Would silver cables beat UP-OCC copper? The answer is - it depends on the silver wire you are using and - the resolution of your systemFor example - I have used Mundorf Solid Silver with 1% gold inside cotton sleeve in my IC’s and ...
Speaker Cables
@jjss49 - I experienced problem using a heavy gauge (i.e. thicker than 18 gauge) solid Hookup wire for my speakers.I do realize that solid is better than stranded wire, but if your crossover is mounted on PCB like mine, there is the possibility th...

Thanks everyone for your contributions - Enlightening, Informative AND Entertaining- as usual :-) Regards - Steve
Interesting 2x2 grid to describe what a component sounds like ... do you agree
this particular unit was plotted as highly vivid and somewhat euphonic To me, the term "plotted" infers some sort of measurement had taken place. But I believe this is an assessment made by "a listener" and as we all know all listeners are very dif...

@in_shore - RE: not connecting the ground...My personal view...if there is a ground pin on the IEC socket of a component then the component has been designed in such a way that in the event of some kind of internal failure then the user will be pr...
