Thomas, I found out this evening that Xtreme Cables doesn't make a shielded phono cable. Be sure to try out their QuickSilver GOLD contact paste though, NO system should be without it IME. Seriously good stuff. Write me if you'd like more details....

I highly recommend Herbie's Audio Lab Big Fat Black Dots. These were an improvement over the Audio Points brass cones previously used in my system. I have a fairly rigid engineered truss floor covered with plywood and oak flooring.Herbie's Audio Lab

Warren, in a similar scenario my Harmonix X-DC Studio Master sounds better from PLC to preamp with the "lesser" cord used from wall outlet to PLC. The difference was quite significant.

Seems to me it hurts the industry and it discourages people from getting involved in the hobby.How so? My take is that people hearing this fascinating phenomenon would be drawn to the subject of better sound reproduction.
