Whither Vitus? @soix Thanks very much. I saw those. The SIA-025 is in Europe and would need to be sent to the factory to change the voltage, so not quite practical for me. The RI-100 looks like a good deal, but I am more or less focused on the 101 Mk 2 or SIA...
Whither Vitus? Thanks, everyone. I did hear from one of these dealers tonight, but unfortunately, I have not yet been able to land a home audition.
Whither Vitus? Yes, I am waiting to hear back. Thanks for your post.
Any Experience with BCS Gadgets? Hardly. I asked for some pics of the amp--a Vitus RI-101 Mk2--and received instead some pics of an Ayre amp with today's date. Also, the "payment platform" is momentarily down, so I'll need to pay by wire transfer instead of using a card or Paypal...

Audiogon Question Is the guy who contacted you a member here with an extensive record of great feedback? If the answer to that is no, I'd pass for sure on this offer. If it is yes, a phone call is the next logical step, but I don't like the sound of this.
