+1 Coda 06x; the sleeper of all mentioned. The best solid state phono stage I've owned.
Which would you choose for good sounding tube preamp for an audiophile new to tubes.
I would also look into Black Ice Audio.

Audio stops pain
@wolf_garcia I agree and sorry you've had to deal with that your whole life. I'm fortunate to never have had a migraine but my wife occasionally has a bad episode. The first thing she says, "I have a migraine coming on, please turn off the music".
What do you consider the most when choosing a pair of speakers?
Tonal purity, presence and effortless dynamics. Everything else is secondary.

Auditioning The Fyne 703 Soon
@andynotadam Congratulations, you're in for a real treat. I drive my F703 speakers with Zesto Audio phono, line stage and amp. Source components are a Weiss DAC and SME table. Enjoy!
Speakers known for great midrange.
IMHO ATC. Harbeth and Spendor sound colored by comparison. For the OP, ATC probably won't work if a syrupy coloration is what one is looking for.
ATC SCM 40 question
