Is there Tannoy Magic / Should I buy a pair of Tannoys as "accessory" speaker?
I’m close to Upscale and purchased Tannoys from them after experiencing the Tannoy magic. If you’re into imaging and soundstage, you will not be disappointed. I listen to all kinds of music and they rock. Of course there are also a pair of REL sub...
Leave it Open or Close it Off: A Listening/ Living Room Dilemma
I'm going to move forward with it and will chime in again after it's done to follow up. The door will be a nice solid wood one- not one of those hollow ones. Thank you all for your input. I appreciate it.
Graphene Sluggo - Unlocking Sonic Scenery
Update: I’ve listened for a while now with just the copper sluggo in my preamp. I moved on to the next component and popped a gold immersion sluggo into my DAC/streamer. I noticed another same level improvement as I did when I popped in the my fir...
Graphene Sluggo - Unlocking Sonic Scenery
I had a SR purple fuse in my preamp, stock fuses in my class D monos and another SR purple in the streamer/DAC for the past 6 months or so.When this thread started, I removed the SR fuses and put stock fuses in everything once again. I listened to...
Graphene Sluggo - Unlocking Sonic Scenery
I’ve spent a bunch of money on SR fuses and they made a meaningful positive impact in my system. Today I come across this ad/thread. Does anyone have experience going from Purple SR fuses to this thingy majigger? If so, where is the best spot for ...
ReL Subs: High Level or Low Level connection
Thanks for this info @fastfreight. I concur: sub cables are the least impactful. Yes, I’m using only 2 wires on each sub. Using all 3 was far too much. If you could go back, would you spend the money on the Baseline Blue again?
Atma-Sphere Class D… Amazing
@armstrod and @atmasphere   Thank you both for chiming-in! You just saved me from a big headache, inconvenience, and money.
ReL Subs: High Level or Low Level connection
@fastfreight Please share your thoughts/ experience with the upgrade to the bass line blue cable. I'm running 2x S/510's with class D monoblocks (1 connected to each amp). I upgraded power cables to Shunyata and that made a noticeable difference ...
Atma-Sphere Class D… Amazing
Has anybody had the experience with the Atma-Sphere MP3 preamp- going from manual volume control to remote volume control? I want to know what kind of difference in sound quality. I've already tube rolled it and it sounds great. Upgraded power cab...
Atma-Sphere Class D… Amazing
Glad to hear you went for them @jaymark. It’s been just over 8 months since I’ve had mine and still loving them. Not missing my old tube integrated at all. I’d highly recommend the Atma-Sphere MP3.3 preamp as well.
Excellent Solid State or Hybrid Monoblocks Recommendations
@carey1110  I’m using Tannoy Turnberry (93db sensitivity / 8 ohms nominal/ 5 ohms min)
Best HIFI Stores LA/Orange
Upscale Audio and talk to Joel if he’s available. He’s a great guy. As was mentioned above: call ahead. Schedule an audition for Tannoy Turnberry’s. I have a feeling they’ll push you in to Fyne instead since looks like they are stepping away from ...
Excellent Solid State or Hybrid Monoblocks Recommendations
I went from tube integrated amp to the Class D mono blocks and separate pre-amp from Atma-Sphere. My experience with them and their products have been great. I had to call them several times for info on tubes/tweaks/ general questions about the MP...
