No one actually knows how to lculate what speaker cable they need b4icu; what type of conductor do you use? Btw, I have known & done this for decades but I still haven`t needed to use 0awg on anything. cakyol; you are correct on one thing but wrong on an other
DIY power cable questions I`ve done simple (minimum)12awg shielded solid core pc`s since the 90`s. Outperforms anything else no matter of price. None of my cables are flexible, flat, twisted or in fancy colours. They just sound perfect.
DIY cables I`ve diyed perfect (nothing less) audiocables since the 90`s.
So What Is Real? " When it comes to digital cables, the cheapest ones that are not defective work EXACTLY the same as the most expensive ones you can buy. I have been on this horse before, but a digital signal is just data until it gets to your DAC. Anyone who...
To bi wire or not bi wire " (1) it is entirely system dependent.... and until you actually do an A-B bake-off... you won’t know. "Kind of true, if you add a crappy cable to a crappy system it will not change too much, that`s true. But adding a good set of cables in a allr...
Does the length of cables really matter? geoffkait19,656 posts02-04-2020 10:45pmYou can’t be two careful with those 1s and 0s. They get the j-j-jitters. 😛--------------There are no 0`s or 1`s in any cable, just an electric signal of 44khz
Miracles in Audio, by luck, by good choices,by design or by tweaking... All this tweaking on a low end system is wasted maghister
Difference in sound between copper and silver digital cables? grannyring: " Copper tends to deliver more mid-bass body and weight and is not as well defined in terms of leading edge detail. Bass is a tad more rounded and yes this can vary, but in general is accurate."This is pure bs. About digital cables; ...
The Truth About Power Cords and there "Real" Price to Performance zug; you are right, no pc can actually improve the current even if a 6-7ft long heavy solid-core pc will slightly improve the flow from a stranded in-wall cable because it will act as a condencer to the powersupplies.
The Truth About Power Cords and there "Real" Price to Performance Sometimes the truth is so simple that it is taken for a lie. The only way to avoid any kind of filtering-effect is to run solid core copper of adequate size, shielded is a plus but not neccesary in most systems.
Miracles in Audio, by luck, by good choices,by design or by tweaking... You can add as many magic stones as you want mahgister, you will never come close to what I can do with one simple diyèd conductor.
Nordost resolution, soundstage and clarity with Wireworld Bass Slam? Anticables are on the right track but they do two things wrong. Not enough area and as all the others they overprice their junk. A "level 6" speakercable from 2.120 dollars? Nothing beats the calm and the slam you will get from a (minimum) 7awg so...
Miracles in Audio, by luck, by good choices,by design or by tweaking... The use of chrystals and "magic" stones are known to be closely related to shamanism. Wonder if any off your "tweaks" would have survived if I should have visited your system.
Miracles in Audio, by luck, by good choices,by design or by tweaking... The biggest jawdropping tweak I`ve stumbeled upon happened way back when I was searching to replace my old Denon DCD-3560. Tryed out a Wadia and a VAC discrete tube dac but I could not just leave that mighty Denon behind. Got me a service-manual...
The Truth About Power Cords and there "Real" Price to Performance Btw, I hope your "high frequense loss" is meant as a joke |
