Dvorak Symphony No. 2 Classic records excellent I have been leery of speakers corners reissues. I got the Clemencic Conosrt reissue and it is not even close to the Harmonia Mundi original. I never bought another one after that. It is encouraging to hear this as I will try one. Which one do you ...
Dvorak Symphony No. 2 Classic records excellent I love the old originals but still like what I hear on this reissue. Most of the originals sound compressed and although the tone can be very nice on many of the originals, I find myself listening to more reissues than the older records lately. Th...
Dvorak Symphony No. 2 Classic records excellent I have to admit that I am not hearing that hardness or pushed highs. The horns sound like they have body, and so do the strings. The clarinet sounds wonderful on this reissue. I like the way it sounds. I was actually very suprised upon first heari...
Lyra and VPI Scout Given my experiences with Benz, and their customer support, the chances of me purchsing another one are slim to none. Originally, My friend had an issue with the Lyra riding too low and he had another one in days. That is the service we should exp...
Dvorak Symphony No. 2 Classic records excellent I agree with you about Classic. I have wrote many threads regarding what you have said, especially their quality control has been lacking. I was suprised to hear such a quiet classic reissue. I have been very disappointed with many of their reissu...
Dvorak Symphony No. 2 Classic records excellent I have tried to find the early pressings of the Living Stereos and about 75% of the time, they are not in very good condition. I wish they were because they do sound great. My comment was more about the fact that for a Classic reissue, this one is...
Lyra and VPI Scout From what I heard at my friends house, I may have to agree with you. I was blown away.
Dvorak Symphony No. 2 Classic records excellent This particular reissue sounds amazing. The record plays very quiet as well. I do not know how the original compares. I wish I could find the originals in decent condition. They are almost always fairly worn locally which is disappointing, but for...
Dvorak Symphony No. 2 Classic records excellent I cannot believe it. A couple of weeks ago when I bought this record from Elusive Disc it was $34.00. Now it is $50.00. I would hate to think a thread could influence this type of thing.
Dvorak Symphony No. 2 Classic records excellent The lp number is LSC-2489
Underrated jazz greats David Sylvian, I agree.
Speakers free of grain, glare and steel? The Harbeths are really nice and Merlins are as well. I have not heard the other spekers you have mentioned.
Lyra and VPI Scout lol. There was definitely something wrong with it. The H2 and the Ace both did the exact same thing, track terribly. The Glider works perfectly. I think I received bad stock. The frustrating thing is that I told my dealer right after I got it that...
Guilty Pleasure via Reader’s Digest I actually think they sound just as good if not better than most shaded dogs. Wilkinson at his best.
Classic records reissue - very disappointing I AGREE Jrw. no excuse to get records with scratches as I just received either. I tried to contact The music.com to get an RMA number so I could return it and get a decent copy. They never replied to me. What the hell is going on here? |
